Exmoor Farmers report an increased entry with 335 cattle sold for their July sale selling to a similar trade from the previous month. Top price Steer £785 Charolais X D.J. Bray. Top price Heifer £598 South Devon X D.J. Bray. Bulling Heifers selling to £710 Hereford X R.G. Tucker. A good company of buyers in attendance from South Wales, Shropshire and throughout the South West. Few strong cattle on offer, more of these required.

Cutcombe Market – Sheep Sale – Wednesday 9th June 2010

A good entry of 375 Ewes and Store Sheep for a June sale selling to a strong trade throughout to top at £84 for Grazing Ewes V. Ellicott, £80 H. Coles, £73.50 S.G. & M.E. Stacey, £69.50 P. Parker also J. Wescott, £69 H.G. Bishop, £68.50 Scimitar Services. Demand throughout for all classes with few stronger Ewes on offer. Store Lambs selling to £78.50, £59, £57. Rams to £75.

Next sale is Wednesday 30th June.
