Newland House is ideally situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park for visitors wishing to enjoy walking on the moor - whether it be short or longer walks or perhaps more adventurous hikes.

We are close to parts of the Two Moors Way, South West Coastal Path and not too far from ColeridgeWay.

New for 2010 is our 'Drop off and Collect service within an approx 5 mile radius of Exford. This would include the villages of Withypool and Simonsbath allowing you to make the most of your stay with us on Exmoor.

A warm welcome awaits you at Newland House. This traditional Exmoor home is cosy and comfortable with bow windows and wisteria covering the front. The view out over the garden wall looks across open farmland and beyond.

We are located in peaceful surroundings in central Exmoor close to the village of Exford.

Exmoor National Park stretches over about 267 sq. miles of unique landscape with plenty of places for you to explore during your stay. With open moorland, wooded coombes, wonderful coastline and an abundance of wildlife. Visit Porlock, Minehead, Doone Valley, West Somerset Railway, find the Exmoor ponies and wild red deer. The sandy surfing beaches of North Devon are well worth a visit.

National Hunt racing at Taunton, Exeter, Wincanton and Newton Abbot or one of the local Point to Point courses for a great day out.

Guests' have their own sitting room with its inglenook fireplace and oak beams. Enjoy a hearty Exmoor breakfast sat at the 17th century oak refectory table.

The nearby village of Exford has all the essential services with Post Office, village stores, 2 busy country pubs and a restaurant
