This picture shows the first garage on Exmoor. The business was started by the grandfather of Alan and Peter Webber and great grandfather of Elaine and David.

Forty years on the Webber family still ran the garage and until the late 1990 were a BP garage. For many years Mr Edward Webbers had the only motorised transport in the area and was often called upon for emergencies such as a farmer's wife in labour needing to go to Minehead for the birth.
