Our Village - by the children of Cutcombe School

Wheddon Cross is a small village in the heart of Exmoor. It has a small school called Cutcombe First School, a pub called the Rest and Be Thankful and a hotel called Exmoor House. It is near Cutcombe and Putham and Snowdrop Valley.

Wheddon Cross is in the county of Somerset in the south west of England, it is in the centre of Exmoor and a farming community. It has some beautiful buildings and very nice children go to the village school.
