PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY WL6/22, PARISH OF CUTCOMBE

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway WL6/22

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 22BB of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended Exmoor National Park Authority hereby
issues this Notice PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along
Bridleway WL6/22 from Popery Lane, Wheddon Cross at SS 9299 3884 to the
intersection with footpath WL6/23 SS 9318 3793 for a distance of 953 metres
for repairs to the surface of the lane.

The closure will take effect from Monday 12th May 2025 for 21 days – work is
expected to take 2 days – the closure will be lifted as soon as the work is
complete. There is no alternative route for horse riders or cyclists. There is an
alternative route for walkers ‘walking the Coleridge Way’ using public footpaths
and the restricted byway Putham Lane WL6/37 shown in blue on the plan
below.
